2. We renewed Tim Willard’s appointment to the GPUS Platform Committee.
3. We will invite Darryl! Moch of DC Statehood Greens to our November 25 meeting for a 30-minute presentation and 15-minute Q&A on their ballot access and petition drives.

Green Guest Speakers (15 minutes)
We considered inviting other Greens to our meetings as speakers, who would present for 45 minutes or so. We’re open to this idea and want to see how it goes with the timing of our regular business.Emergency Assembly for Bylaw Changes (10 minutes)
6.4 Emergency Assemblies: Emergency MGP Assemblies may be called by three (3) Locals or by the petition of 25 members. Requests for such meetings shall be made to the Co-Chairs, who shall instruct the Membership Committee to send out notice of the meeting within 10 days, with the meeting to be convened within 70 days of receiving a valid request.
This would be one or two sessions in the fall of this year; Brian will coordinate the petition.

Appointments to Committees
Tim Willard is reappointed to continue serving on the GPUS Platform Committee. Agreed unanimously.
Animal Rights Committee

The Committee is considering proposals to revise the agriculture sections of the platform.
EcoAction Committee
[Mary Rooker]
· EcoAction sometimes meets twice a month at 8PM, once for business and once (usually 2nd Mondays) for a presentation/webinar.
· The latest webinar that is posted is from July 2025, Why Nuclear is a False Solution.
· I recently gave a webinar workshop at the national Green Party Annual National Meeting in July-Aug: The Environmental Impacts of Regenerative Agriculture, presented by Mary Rooker and Marci Henzi. Webinar/workshop link (82 mins.)
Participants will gain a solid understanding of our platform's call for Regenerative Agriculture. Candidates will be able to translate our agricultural platform into specific policies at all levels. Platitudes and generalities are lovely but can't deliver the needed actions that bring deep cultural and political change. Accompanying downloads:

Guest Speaker Darryl! Moch
Inviting Darryl! Moch co-chair of the DC Statehood Greens to talk about maintaining their ballot status, running of candidates. (5 minutes)

Michelle:
· Talk moderated by Andy on Modern Monetary Theory between Warren Mosler and Howard Schweitzer on Oct. 14.
· We need to replace plastic products with hemp products.
David:
· Topics we should be looking at as a party include the budget mess in Annapolis.
· He would like to get a Green Party central committee going in Allegany County.
