Donate to the DARRYL BONNER Ballot Access FUND

In May of 2024, the Maryland Green Party lost a long-time ally, Darryl Bonner. Darryl worked for many years as a signature gatherer, collecting signatures for many minor political parties. Bonner was working on behalf of the Green Party’s 2024 ballot access petition when he passed away at the age of 59.

Bonner collected many thousands of signatures on behalf of parties seeking support for their ballot access efforts and was well-known nation-wide for his work and his personality. Bonner was the plantiff in Libertarian Party of Virginia v. Judd, a federal lawsuit that won a major legal victory for the rights of political parties and professional signature gatherers.

To honor his memory, the Maryland Green Party has established the Darryl Bonner Ballot Access Fund.

Contributions made to this fund will be held in reserve to assist the Maryland Green Party ——.
