County Council 4th District Special Election

Long time party member Geroge Gluck has entered the special election to replace Don Praisner in the Montgomery County Council's 4th District. The Democratic and Republican primaries will be on April 21 and the general election will be on May 19.
Take a look at George's website, donate some money. Also take a look at the summary of the Audubon Society forum that George took part in. (Unfortunately someone obscured George in all of the pictures posted on the blog.)

County Council 4th District Special Election
The governor's office announced that a special primary election would be held on March 3 and special general election would be held on April 7 640-553. State law requires the governor to set a date for a congressional special election within five days of a vacancy being created. State law mandates that a general election must be held within 115 days of the vacancy 70-431. In an effort to cut costs and help save money, the date of the special general election coincided with municipal elections scheduled in Chicago, Cook County, and surrounding metropolitan areas 650-393.
