Party Blog is open for business
A blog (short for weblog) is
an online conversation between members of a
community. Once you have registered, you can
add your own articles on the website, and comment on
other's writing.
Read the articles and feel
free to join in the conversation. All are welcome to join the conversation.

typically called Posts.
- Responses are called
Comments
- You will see along the
right side:
- A monthly calendar
with dates highlighted (highlights indicate
articles were added that day
- Links to other blogs
and groups
- A search box, to
search for articles and posts. Try
searching for Howe.
- A link to
register.
- A link to the RSS
feed for those who use RSS aggregator
software.
Comment
- To leave a comment to a
post, just register using any Register link you
find. Here's one for you to use:
Register now! (It's very minimal: Username,
email, first and last name are all we need.)
You'll receive an email with the password.
- When you get the email,
login. (The link is in the email if you need
it.)
- Change your password!
It's probably a good idea to change your
password now to something you'll remember.
- At the bottom of the
right side, there's a link to
Site
Admin Click it.
- Click Users at the
top of the screen and you will see your
profile.
- Enter a password in
the bottom two boxes and click Update.
- Go back to that article
and leave a comment. Check your spelling,
and click the submit button. Your comment
will immediately appear, and the original author
will get the comment in an email and can comment
on the same page.
- If comments are
objectionable/offensive/etc. they will be
deleted by the Admins. Be polite.
The world is watching.
- The dialog has begun!
Post
- In keeping with the
Grassroots philosophy of the Greens, we'll start
off by allowing anyone to post new topics.
If this becomes unworkable, we can restrict this
later.
- If posts are
objectionable/offensive/etc. they will be
deleted by the Admins.
- To start a new
topic (or thread),
login, and use the Site Admin link.
- Click Write at the top of
the screen.
- Write your article.
- Check your spelling!
- Select as many categories
from the checkboxes on the right side as you
think make sense.
- If you're not finished,
you can click the Save and Continue Editing
button.
- If you're finished, click
the Publish button. Your post will appear
at the top of the home page as the most recent
Post.
- You'll get emails telling
you when
people respond.
