Ajamu Baraka is the National Organizer for the Black Alliance for Peace and the Founding Executive Director of U.S. Human Rights Network. He received the 2001 “Abolitionist of the Year” award from the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty and the “Human Rights Guardian” award from the National Center for Human Rights Education. He is on the board of Cooperation Jackson in Jackson, MS, a media commentator on criminal justice and international human rights issues, an editor and contributor for the Black Agenda Report and a writer for Counterpunch. Baraka was the 2016 Green Party Vice-Presidential candidate. 

The Rev. Annie (Rogers) Chambers, Baltimore City HUD Resident Advisory Board Member representing the Douglass Homes, and first elected Green Party member in Baltimore City will emcee the evening.

We'll also be joined by special guests Kevin Zeese and Margaret Flowers.
