Start a Campus Greens chapter at your school! Here are a few easy steps: 1. Contact the Membership Coordinator for the Maryland Green Party. The state party can help provide resources and get others involved. Call 410-688-8018 or e-mail brian@brianbittner.org. 2. Ask your school's student government association or office of student activities about the policies regarding new student organizations. Get all the required paperwork. 3. Find students who are interested in joining. Talk to friends or people you know have advocated for social justice, peace, or environmental protection before. Find members of your school's College Democrats or Republicans. Look for members at environmental clubs and service groups. 4. Advertise your new group. Hang fliers in buildings, dorms, and on campus. Talk to someone at the school newspaper. 5. Look for a faculty advisor. 6. Remember to keep in touch with the Maryland Green Party along the way.
